Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Santa Fe, NM is seeking a stock and customer service oriented team member to assist with ordering, replenishment, and merchandising of grocery products, while upholding health, safety and quality standards.

You will complete Order Writer training, monitor inventory, process purchases and credits, support promotional displays, and deliver friendly service to customers and Team Members in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 12+ months retail experience.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent customer service and communication.
• Able to work in fast-paced environment.
• Follows health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Complete Order Writer training.
• Replenish products per buying procedures.
• Order perishable and non-perishable items and maintain back stock.
• Monitor open PO reports for purchases and credits.
• Control spoilage/shrink; participate in inventory counts.
• Complete spoilage and other inventory management processes.
• Ensure orders for product are timely and accurate to monitor inventory turns.
• Oversee customer special order procedure.
• Analyze transfers, waste and spoilage.
• Support leadership in inventories.
• Maintain profitability by meeting purchasing and sales targets.
• Arrive on time; maintain grooming and attire.
• Provide excellent customer service and suggestive selling techniques.
• Maximize sales through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, merchandising.
• Follow health, sanitation, and safety procedures.
