Job summary

David is seeking a Strategic Retail Analyst to build and scale our Grocery channel, working with the sales team to drive retail growth, analyze account performance, and expand distribution across grocery customers.

We are looking for someone who is highly analytical, proficient in Excel and financial modeling, and capable of turning insights into clear, actionable recommendations that advance the business. This is a full-time, in-office role in New York City.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in investment banking, management consulting, corporate strategy, finance, or analytical role.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Ability to translate analyses into actionable recommendations.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in CPG/retail is a plus.
• Based in New York City, on-site.

Responsibilities

• Grow the Grocery channel and expand distribution.
• Identify and pursue new grocery accounts.
• Build relationships with buyers, distributors, brokers.
• Support sales from outreach to launch and account management.
• Develop account strategies to drive distribution and sales growth.
• Prepare for buyer meetings and line reviews.
• Monitor performance and analyze sales data.
• Forecast sales and communicate demand risks.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Marketing and Finance.
• Represent David at trade shows and events.
• Track grocery industry trends and opportunities.
