Broulim’s ACE Hardware is seeking a Grocery Lead to join our team. The role supports the Assistant Store Director - Grocery in overseeing daily grocery department operations, ensuring product availability, and providing excellent customer service.

The Grocery Lead will help with inventory control, stock replenishment, staff supervision, and adherence to safety standards to create a welcoming shopping environment for customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Retail or grocery experience preferred but not required.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Assistant Store Director - Grocery in managing inventory levels and ordering products to maintain adequate stock levels.
• Stock shelves and displays with new merchandise, ensuring items are neatly arranged and properly labeled.
• Provide assistance to customers, including answering inquiries, locating products, and resolving issues or concerns.
• Assist with training and supervising grocery department staff, including scheduling and assigning tasks.
• Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards, including proper handling and storage of perishable items.
• Monitor department cleanliness and organization, including cleaning shelves, displays, and work areas.
• Collaborate with team members to implement merchandising strategies and promotional activities to drive sales.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Store Director - Grocery or store management.
