Broulim’s ACE Hardware in Rexburg is seeking a reliable Grocery Clerk to maintain the appearance and organization of the grocery department. You will stock shelves, rotate products, assist customers, and keep aisles clean to ensure a pleasant shopping experience.

This non-exempt, part-time role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and teamwork. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, helping customers quickly and accurately while following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Must have basic knowledge of grocery products and categories.
• Familiarity with stocking procedures and merchandising techniques.
• Understanding of safety procedures and guidelines for handling products.
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries of grocery products and verify accuracy of shipments.
• Stock shelves and displays with new merchandise, ensuring items are neatly arranged and properly labeled.
• Rotate products to ensure older items are brought to the front for sale and newer items are placed in the back.
• Assist customers in locating products, providing information, and answering inquiries.
• Maintain cleanliness in the grocery aisles, including sweeping, mopping, and removing debris.
• Monitor inventory levels and notify management of low stock or damaged items.
• Assist with inventory counts and restocking activities during off-peak hours.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
