Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a team member to support the Grocery team by stocking shelves, preparing product, and ensuring a friendly shopping environment. You’ll uphold WFM standards, assist with displays, and help customers while following health and safety regulations.

No retail experience is required; training will cover product knowledge, procedures, and safety guidelines. The wage range is posted with benefits available to full/part-time team members.

Qualifications

• Able to deliver friendly, courteous service to customers and teammates.
• Willingness to learn product knowledge and department procedures.
• Strong communication and teamwork to support store standards.
• Ability to perform basic math and handle stocking duties accurately.
• Capable of standing/walking all shift and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Commitment to health, sanitation, and safety regulations.
• Proactive in promoting products and store programs.
• Flexible and able to work a varied schedule including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Ensures fresh, appealing displays; front-facing with stock and pricing accuracy.
• Stocks shelves, bulk bins, dairy and frozen cases; maintains back stock.
• Monitors spoilage and communicates waste to relevant leaders.
• Assists with sampling programs; keeps sample areas clean and presentable.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties and adheres to procedures.
• Delivers excellent customer service; answers phones promptly and courteously.
• Maintains a clean, safe shopping and working environment; follows safety rules.
• Completes required worksheets and participates in trainings and meetings.
