Whole Foods Market is seeking a team member to support the grocery department by stocking, merchandising, and assisting customers with product knowledge. You will maintain clean displays, manage back stock, and participate in sampling programs, while following safety and quality standards.

The role emphasizes customer service, speed, accuracy in pricing, and adherence to health and safety regulations in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure fresh, appealing displays by front-facing and stocking shelves.
• Stock groceries, bulk bins, dairy, and frozen items.
• Monitor spoilage and communicate waste to leadership.
• Maintain back stock in good order.
• Assist with sampling and keep areas clean and organized.
• Complete required worksheets for spoilage and temperature checks.
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned.
• Provide courteous, helpful customer service and answer phones promptly.
