Job summary

Whole Foods Market, Inc. is seeking a motivated Team Member to support the Grocery team with receiving, stocking, and presenting products to customers. You will maintain clean displays, assist with sampling, and help ensure health and safety standards across the department.

You will provide courteous service, support sales through proper merchandising, and collaborate with teammates to meet store programs and initiatives while adapting to a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Follow health and sanitation procedures and safety rules.
• Deliver courteous, friendly service to customers and Team Members.

Responsibilities

• Maintain fresh, appealing displays by front-facing, stocking, and rotating inventory.
• Stock and maintain grocery shelves, bulk bins, frozen, and dairy cases.
• Monitor spoilage and communicate waste to managers and leads.
• Keep back stock organized and accessible.
• Assist with sampling and keep sample areas clean and attractive.
• Complete required worksheets (spoilage, temperature, sweep) as needed.
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties; ensure pricing accuracy.
• Report safety hazards promptly and follow SOPs.
