Whole Foods Market in Cherry Hill, NJ is seeking a Retail Team Member to support the Grocery department by receiving, stocking, and merchandising products while delivering friendly, helpful service to customers.

You will follow store SOPs, participate in inventory and display upkeep, and collaborate with Team Members to maintain quality standards and safe food handling. This entry-level role emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and a passion for natural foods.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Ability to learn basic knowledge of products carried in department.
• Ability to sell proactively and provide courteous service.

Responsibilities

• Ensures fresh displays by front-facing, stocking, checking codes and rotating products.
• Stock and clean grocery shelves, bulk bins, frozen and dairy cases.
• Monitors spoilage and communicates waste to buyers and leads.
• Maintains back stock in good order.
• Assists with sampling areas and program upkeep.
• Completes spoilage, sampling, temperature and sweep worksheets.
• Assists with periodic inventory checks.
• Arrives on time, groomed, and ready to work; attends trainings.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling techniques.
• Maximizes sales through proper prepping, storing, rotating, and merchandising.
• Follows procedures on weights, measures, health, sanitation, and safety.
• Maintains a clean environment and safe equipment handling.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures signs/pricing accuracy.
• Reports safety hazards immediately.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
