Job summary

Piggly Wiggly Midwest LLC is seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee grocery/perishable warehouses, maintain facilities, and lead safety, inventory control, and service excellence. You will supervise recruitment, training, and continuous skills development for team members and collaborate with customers to meet quality and reliability goals.

The role covers budgeting, capital planning, and implementing new processes and equipment to drive performance while ensuring a safe work

Qualifications

• Associate/Bachelor’s Degrees or equivalent in General Studies required.
• Experience in retail operations, distribution, logistics or supply chain preferred.
• Physical ability to move up to 60 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate performance of distribution center functions and address gaps to meet operating goals.
• Assess business conditions and adjust for seasonality, promotions, and near-term opportunities to improve service and reduce costs.
• Assist with annual operating budget preparation and approval process; support capital expenditure proposals.
• Direct adoption of improved processes, equipment, and facilities to drive incremental results.
• Maintain safe work environment and security for all personnel and assets; enforce health and safety regulations.
