Job summary
Meijer Inc. is hiring a Grocery Dept Manager for our Hartland Township, MI store. You will lead the grocery department, drive staffing, training, and development, and manage performance to meet safety, quality, and profitability goals.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 4+ years of retail/grocery or customer service experience.
- Ability to analyze financial information and make data-driven decisions.
- Proven leadership experience and commitment to safety.
- Strong merchandising and business acumen with inclusive leadership.
Responsibilities
- Engage with team members to ensure onboarding, training, and coaching.
- Identify talent and plan for staffing and leadership succession.
- Discuss career growth with team members and uphold Meijer standards.
- Oversee area operations and drive budgeted P&L results.
- Ensure safety, compliance, and proper store condition management.
