Job summary

King Soopers in Colorado Springs is seeking an Assistant Department Manager to plan, organize, staff, train and direct Grocery Department associates, while focusing on safe, ethical operations and strong customer service.

Responsibilities include coordinating staffing, using CAO to order merchandise, pricing and display, and promoting company programs. Flexibility with shifts, weekends and holidays is required, along with leadership and integrity in daily duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Department Manager in organizing work and staffing the Grocery Department.
• Train and schedule associates to ensure prompt, courteous service.
• Respond to customer or associate questions, complaints and requests professionally.
• Use CAO to order merchandise and balance on-hand inventory.
• Price and display merchandise; maintain signage and product rotation.
