You will manage inventory, train staff, develop displays, and coordinate with the Store Manager to address hiring, safety, and department performance. This role requires 18+ and ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work a fluctuating schedule.

Qualifications

• Grocery experience and leadership experience required.
• Strong communication, organizational, and planning skills.
• Ability to delegate and supervise a team.
• Knowledge of health, sanitation and safety regulations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Grocery Department and staff.
• Provide best-in-class customer service.
• Ensure department is stocked, rotated, and clean.
• Manage inventory and place orders based on reports.
• Train, coach, and conduct 1:1 meetings with associates.
• Create attractive displays and end caps.
• Communicate department needs to Store Manager.
• Maintain safety, sanitation, and equipment upkeep.
• Adapt to fluctuating schedule including evenings/weekends/holidays.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
