• Must meet minimum age requirements and pass required trainings.
• Accreditation as Food Safety Manager or willingness to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Grocery Department, including hiring, training and developing department associates.
• Supervise performance of department staff and conduct regular performance appraisals.
• Oversee daily labor management and coaching to meet productivity goals.
• Promote a positive store culture aligned with Food Lion values.
• Help achieve budgeted financial and operating results.
• Ensure excellent customer service and a positive shopping experience.
