Job summary

ShopRite Hamden is seeking a Grocery Manager to direct the Grocery Department and oversee Associates to achieve sales, profit, and Customer Experience goals. Reporting to the General Store Manager, you will lead essential functions to ensure safety, presentation, and efficiency across the department.

The role requires experience supervising a team, strong communication, and the ability to manage in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak English and analyze information.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand/walk for a full shift.
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, reach, push, pull and lift 25–60 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all functions of Grocery Department and its staff.
• Ensure customer experience and associate engagement align with company priorities.
• Maintain proper staffing to meet sales and service goals.
