Job summary

ShopRite of Milford is seeking a Grocery Manager to oversee the Grocery Department, supervise associates, and drive sales, profit, and customer experience in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead onboarding, training, and performance feedback while ensuring safety, accurate pricing, and regulatory compliance across the department. This role reports to the General Store Manager and requires strong leadership and client-focused service.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak English.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 60 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to work with products and in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all functions of the Grocery Department.
• Lead associates to achieve department goals.
• Ensure safety, customer experience, and efficiency.
• Monitor pricing, inventory, and display standards.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Maintain department staffing and training.
