Job summary

ShopRite of Waretown in New Jersey is seeking a Grocery Manager to direct and supervise all functions of the Grocery Department and its Associates, aiming to achieve sales, profit, Customer Experience, and engagement goals under the General Store Manager.

The role requires leadership, team development, strong service priorities, and the ability to manage safety, presentation, and efficiency while upholding company policies.

Qualifications

• Proficient reading, writing, speaking English.
• Basic math ability.
• Ability to stand/walk for shifts.
• Basic computer skills.
• Lift 25 lbs regularly; up to 60 lbs occasionally.
• Work with various products and ingredients.
• Comfortable in varying temperatures.
• Able to climb a ladder to access items.
• Strong customer interaction skills.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others and lead Associates.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Grocery Department functions and staff.
