Job summary

ShopRite of Freehold in Freehold, NJ is seeking a Grocery Manager to direct and supervise all grocery department functions and staff. You will drive sales, customer experience, and associate engagement while adhering to safety and company priorities.

Responsibilities include leading department operations, training associates, ensuring accurate pricing, stocking, and compliance with all policies. This role offers competitive hourly pay and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand the English language.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Ability to regularly lift 25 lbs. and occasionally up to 60 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all functions of Grocery Department.
• Lead associates to meet department goals in safety, efficiency, presentation and customer experience.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain proper stocking, pricing, and product presentation across the department.
• Provide training and feedback to associates and maintain open communication with partners.
