Job summary

Fresh Thyme Market in Bloomington, CA is seeking a Coordinator to lead department operations, schedule staff, and maintain food safety standards while delivering exceptional customer service. You will oversee ordering, receiving, stocking, and display, train teammates, and contribute to achieving sales and profitability goals in a fast-paced grocery setting.

Requires high school diploma and 1-2 years management/retail experience; Serv Safe certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Previous experience in a natural foods industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assists in scheduling, staffing selection, and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Promotes succession planning and identifies development needs for department staff.
• Supports disciplinary actions and makes recommendations concerning discharge.
• Attain P&L budgeted goals, achieving sales, labor and margin plans for the department.
• Models exceptional, fast and friendly customer service.
• Ensure backroom is neat and organized.
