Job summary

Fresh Thyme Farmers Market is seeking a Coordinator to lead day-to-day operations in the department, ensure superb customer service, and manage scheduling, staffing, and training. The role requires strong leadership, a focus on food-safety processes, and adherence to department procedures.

You will oversee ordering, receiving, stocking, pricing, and merchandising while driving sales, labor, and margin goals. This position offers growth opportunities within a fast-paced, community-focused grocery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Serv Safe Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in scheduling, staffing selection, and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Promote succession planning with career paths and development needs.
• Support disciplinary actions and recommendations concerning discharge.
• Attain P&L budgeted goals, achieving sales, labor and margin plans for the department.
• Review sales goals, supply costs, stock loss/shrink results and goals.
• Models exceptional, fast and friendly customer service.
• Ensure the backroom is neat and organized and price changes are compliant.
