Job summary

The Kroger Family of Companies in Melissa, TX is seeking a Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger to deliver an outstanding customer experience. You will bag groceries at checkout, help customers load bags, and keep the store clean and safe.

You will perform shelf conditioning, share grocery specials, and follow safety procedures while treating customers with respect and integrity. Prior retail experience is welcome but not required, and flexible scheduling may apply.

Qualifications

• Retail experience is preferred but not necessary.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment.

Responsibilities

• Bag groceries at checkout for customers.
• Assist customers with loading bags into their car.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning.
• Inform customers of grocery specials.
• Return merchandise to store shelves.
• Gather bascarts and return them to designated areas.
• Clean spills, collect and pick up trash inside store and parking lot.
• Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise.
• Understand the store's layout, locate products, and conduct price checks for cashiers.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and identify unsafe conditions.
