Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Create an environment where customers feel welcome and appreciated by answering questions about products.
• Gain knowledge of products in the department to respond to questions and provide recommendations.
• Offer product samples to help customers discover new items.
• Inform customers of dairy specials and provide fresh products they've ordered.
• Recommend items to customers to meet their needs.
• Check product quality and review sell-by dates; take appropriate action.
• Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise.
• Report ordering/shipping discrepancies to the department manager.
• Maintain a positive attitude and stay current with ads and promotions.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and maintain proper temperatures.
