Kroger Co. in Crawfordsville, IN is hiring for a Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger. You will bag groceries at checkout, assist customers, keep the store clean, and help with loading bags into cars. The role supports safety, food safety compliance, and friendly service aligned with Kroger’s values.

Formación

• Retail experience is preferred but not necessary.

Responsabilidades

• Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger bag groceries at check out for customers.
• Achieve at least five items in each bag while protecting contents from damage.
• Follow best practices for bagging with reusable, plastic, and paper bags.
• Assist in removing customer merchandise from bottom of bascart for checkout.
• Offer to help customers load bags into their car.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of specials.
• Return merchandise to store shelves and gather bascarts to designated areas.
• Clean spills, collect trash inside store and in parking lot.
• Clean all areas inside and outside of store.
• Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise.
• Understand store layout, locate products, and conduct price checks for cashiers.
• Reinforce safety programs by following procedures and report unsafe conditions.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Inspect equipment and notify management of repairs.
• Create an environment where customers feel welcome by answering product questions.
• Follow local, state, and federal laws and company guidelines.
• Work cooperatively in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
• Manage conflicts calmly and honestly with customers and colleagues.
• Follow directions and seek help to resolve customer and business issues.
• Provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
