City Market Co-Op in Burlington, VT is seeking a Grocery Coordinator to direct the work of grocery stockers, learn the basics of buying to purchase products, and keep all grocery areas well stocked, staffed, and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating the Grocery team to ensure sub departments are well-stocked, rotated, clean, staffed and maintained.
• Learn the basic mechanics of buying to purchase products in absence of Buyers.
• Assist Grocery Management in communicating policy, tracking employee performance, training, and assigning tasks to employees.
• Provide support to customers and staff as needed.
• Comply with City Market procedures on operations, sales, safety and security.
• May perform other related duties as assigned.
