Minimum Position Qualifications:

• Knowledge of basic math
• Ability to complete the cashier training program
• Ability to memorize produce and sale items
• Effective communication and reading skills
• Must be 18 years old

Desired Previous Job Experience:

• Customer service experience
• Retail experience

Essential Job Functions:

• Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently, understanding the Point of Sale system and handling various tenders.
• Rotate merchandise according to code dating policies and check product quality for freshness.
• Create a welcoming environment, answer customer questions, and promote trust and respect among team members.
• Assist and engage customers, inform them of specials, and respond to product inquiries.
• Order, label, stock, and inventory merchandise, reporting discrepancies to management.
• Adhere to cash handling, sale restrictions, and safety regulations, including food safety and temperature controls.
• Practice safety, perform preventive maintenance, and report unsafe conditions or accidents.
• Comply with all laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Physical demands include standing, lifting, pushing/pulling, bending, and other manual tasks.
• Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment, manage conflicts, and act with honesty and integrity.
• Support interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
