Job Title: Grocery Clerk I

Reports To: Center Store Manager

Your role as a Grocery Clerk involves stocking shelves to make grocery shopping easy and enjoyable for guests. You will keep shelves stocked, products fresh, and the store organized, ensuring guests find what they need quickly. Your attention to detail and friendly service help create a welcoming atmosphere where guests feel valued. If you enjoy a fast-paced retail environment and making a difference, this role is for you!

Job Description

What You’ll Do:

Responsibilities include:

• Provide Helpful Service: Offer excellent guest service through friendly greetings, answering questions, and addressing concerns professionally.
• Stock & Display: Stock aisles, ensure products are fresh, properly rotated, and well-stocked.
• Offer Assistance: Help guests locate products and suggest alternatives when appropriate.
• Receiving & Inventory Support: Unload deliveries, organize stock, and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Collaboration: Work with the Grocery Department Manager and team to meet goals.
• Clean & Organize: Keep the department clean, sanitized, and tidy.
• Problem-Solving: Address guest concerns with professionalism.
• Meet Goals: Ensure shelves are stocked by designated times.
• Honor Commitments: Maintain regular, timely attendance and notify management of absences.
• Support the Team: Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Bring:

• Helpful attitude and commitment to guest service.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Awareness of safety policies, including proper lifting techniques.
• Ability to operate equipment (training provided).

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Ability to stand for long periods, work in coolers, bend, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Functional sensory abilities for monitoring and operating equipment.

Work Schedule:

This part-time position may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
