Job Title: Fresh Cut Clerk
Reports to: Produce Department Manager/Fresh Cut Manager

In this role, you will ensure our guests have access to delicious, freshly cut fruit and veggie platters—perfect for daily life, get-togethers, or special occasions! Your role in keeping the fresh cut department stocked and ready will encourage repeat visits, as guests rely on us for their entertaining needs.

Job Description

Responsibilities include:

• Maintain Freshness: Keep stock levels appropriate by monitoring sales floor and cooler conditions, producing, stocking, and replenishing products as needed.
• Provide Exceptional Service: Deliver outstanding service to all guests, assist in finding products, and resolve concerns to ensure satisfaction.
• Ensure Cleanliness: Organize and sanitize work areas, shelving, and sales floors regularly.
• Monitor Quality & Food Safety: Meet quality standards, maintain food safety logs, and meet quantity expectations by 10 am and 5 pm.
• Honor Commitments: Maintain regular, timely attendance and provide notice for absences.
• Support the Team: Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong Communication Skills: Ability to engage effectively with guests, leaders, and team members in a fast-paced environment.
• Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safety policies, proper lifting techniques, and box cutter safety.
• Equipment Proficiency: Ability to operate equipment such as power jacks, walk-behind lifts, WAVs, balers, and compactors.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

The physical demands include standing for long periods, working in coolers, bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting up to 40 pounds, and performing repetitive tasks. Sensory abilities are needed to monitor the store and operate equipment. Accommodations can be provided for individuals with disabilities.

Work Schedule

The Fresh Cut Clerk position can be part-time or full-time.
