Job summary

El Super is hiring a Grocery Clerk for store #45 in Oceanside, CA. Under direct supervision, you will assist customers, restock, clean display cases and shelves, and rotate the self-serve displays. Nights and weekends availability is required.

The role offers a starting rate of $17.75 per hour and a fast-paced environment. We value community, diverse customers, and reliable team members who contribute to excellent service.

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, shelf tags, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence and effectively present information to customers and employees.
• Regularly lift and move up to 25 lbs, frequently up to 45 lbs, and occasionally up to 60 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision, provide friendly, courteous service and assist customers, clean display cases and shelves, and rotate self-serve displays.
• Must be able to work nights and weekends and perform heavy lifting, bending, and stooping for long periods in a fast-paced grocery environment.
