You will reinforce safety procedures, monitor temperatures, and stay informed about current ads and promotions while delivering friendly, helpful service to every customer.

Responsibilities

• Grocery Clerk helps customers discover new items or products they inquire about.
• Informs customers of food specials and recommends items to meet their needs.
• Check product quality to ensure freshness; review sell-by dates and take action.
• Provide customers with fresh and non-perishable grocery products they ordered.
• Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise.
• Report ordering/shipping discrepancies to the department manager.
• Stay current with ads and promotions; adhere to safety regulations.
