• Grocery Clerk informs customers of food specials and recommends items to ensure customer needs are met.
• Check product quality to ensure freshness and review sell-by dates.
• Provide customers with fresh and non-perishable groceries as ordered.
• Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise.
• Report discrepancies to the department manager.
• Maintain knowledge of products and respond to questions with recommendations.
• Create welcoming environment so customers feel valued and assisted.
• Adhere to safety procedures and maintain temperature logs in cases and coolers.
