Job summary

Foodland Super Market, Ltd is hiring for Grocery Clerks to join our team on Hawaii. This hourly position offers part-time (24+ hours) and full-time (40 hours) options with pay from $17.90/hour.

Evening and weekend availability is strongly preferred, and relocation assistance is not provided. Essential duties include stocking the grocery section, assisting in receiving and stocking, building displays, handling damages per policy, and assisting customers.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school education preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must successfully pass math test.
• Must successfully pass cashier training after hire.
• TB Clearance required.
• Must comply with all company policies and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Stock grocery section and ensure products are well stocked.
• Receive, store, and stock products with proper rotation and quality.
• Create and display product displays, front products.
• Handle damages and credits per policy.
• Assist customers in locating items.
• Perform cashier duties as needed.
• Be able to work overnight shifts.

The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

• ensure the grocery section of the store is well-stocked for our customers
• assist in receiving, storing, and stocking of products while ensuring proper product rotation and quality
• create and build product displays, ensure proper fronting of products
• handle product damages and credits according to company policy
• Grocery Clerks must be familiar with store products and their locations in order to assist customers in locating items
• must be able to perform all duties of a cashier as needed and directed by management
• must be able to work overnight shifts

Qualifications and requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school education preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must successfully pass math test
• Must successfully pass cashier training after hire
