Job summary

Foodland Super Market, Ltd is hiring for Grocery Clerks to join our team in Hawai‘i. This is an hourly, part-time position (24+ hours) with evening and weekend availability strongly preferred.

Pay starts from $17.04 per hour. On-island candidates only; relocation assistance is not provided. Foodland is locally owned and has served Hawai‘i for over 75 years.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school education preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must successfully pass math test.
• Must successfully pass cashier training after hire.
• TB Clearance required.
• Must comply with all company policies and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the grocery section of the store is well-stocked for our customers.
• Assist in receiving, storing, and stocking of products while ensuring proper product rotation and quality.
• Create and build product displays, ensure proper fronting of products.
• Handle product damages and credits according to company policy.
• Grocery Clerks must be familiar with store products and their locations in order to assist customers in locating items.
• Must be able to perform all duties of a cashier as needed and directed by management.
• Must be able to work overnight shifts.
