Grocery Clerk (Finance)

Essential Job Functions:

1. Assist customers in discovering products and inform them of specials.
2. Ensure product quality and freshness, reviewing "sell by" dates.
3. Provide ordered grocery products to customers.
4. Recommend products to customers.
5. Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise.
6. Report discrepancies to the manager.
7. Stay current with ads and promotions.
8. Follow all food safety regulations and maintain temperature logs.
9. Maintain product knowledge and respond to customer inquiries.
10. Create a welcoming environment for customers.
11. Follow safety procedures and report unsafe conditions.
12. Inspect equipment and notify management of repairs.
13. Report accidents promptly.
14. Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment.
15. Manage conflicts calmly and cooperatively.
16. Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
17. Follow directions and seek help when needed.
18. Support interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.

Salary Range: $17.50 - $22.61.
