Grocery Clerk (Finance)

Responsibilities include:

• Informing customers of food specials and recommending grocery items to meet their needs.
• Checking product quality, reviewing "sell by" dates, and ensuring freshness.
• Providing customers with ordered grocery products, both fresh and non-perishable.
• Labeling, stocking, and inventory management.
• Reporting discrepancies in product ordering or shipping.
• Staying current with ads and promotions.
• Adhering to food safety regulations and maintaining proper temperatures and logs.
• Gaining product knowledge to assist and suggest to customers.
• Creating a welcoming environment for customers.
• Following safety procedures, inspecting equipment, and reporting issues.
• Reporting accidents and maintaining safety standards.
• Working cooperatively in a high-paced environment, managing conflicts, and acting with honesty and integrity.
• Following directions and assisting customers, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
