Essential Job Functions:
- Assist customers in discovering new items or products they inquire about.
- Inform customers of food specials and recommend grocery items to ensure they get what they want and need.
- Check product quality for freshness, review "sell by" dates, and take appropriate action.
- Provide customers with ordered grocery products, both fresh and non-perishable.
- Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise.
- Report product ordering/shipping discrepancies to the manager.
- Stay current with advertisements and promotions.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines, maintaining proper temperatures and logs.
- Maintain knowledge of department products to respond to questions and make suggestions.
- Create a welcoming environment for customers, making them feel valued and appreciated.
- Follow safety procedures, identify unsafe conditions, and notify management.
- Inspect equipment regularly and report repairs needed.
- Notify management of customer or employee accidents.
- Work cooperatively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
- Manage conflict professionally and cooperatively.
- Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
- Follow directions and seek assistance when needed to resolve issues.
- Support minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults through direct interaction.

Salary Range: $20.25 - $25.30
