Grocery Clerk (Finance)

Responsibilities include:

• Informing customers about food specials and recommending grocery items to ensure they get what they want and need.
• Checking product quality, reviewing "sell by" dates, and taking appropriate actions.
• Providing customers with ordered grocery products, both fresh and non-perishable.
• Labeling, stocking, and inventory management.
• Reporting discrepancies in product ordering/shipping.
• Staying updated on current and upcoming promotions.
• Adhering to food safety regulations and maintaining proper temperatures with logs.
• Gaining product knowledge to assist and advise customers.
• Creating a welcoming environment for customers.
• Following safety procedures and reporting unsafe conditions or accidents.
• Inspecting equipment and reporting repairs needed.
• Supporting a cooperative and respectful team environment, even under stress.
• Handling conflicts professionally and acting with integrity.
