Job Function

As a Grocery Clerk, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our grocery department. Your responsibilities include stocking shelves, assisting customers, maintaining a clean and organized store, and contributing to a positive shopping experience. Ideal candidates are outgoing, friendly, dependable, hardworking, and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

1. Provide outstanding customer service
2. Clean and sanitize daily
3. Operate POS system and handle cashier duties
4. Unload products and stock shelves
5. Price and display products appropriately
6. Sack groceries and assist with carry-out service
7. Record and report inventory accurately
8. Assist customers during shopping
9. Potentially perform E-Commerce duties such as order picking and delivery to vehicles
10. Perform other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications

1. Must be at least 14 years old
2. Availability to work Saturdays and some evenings
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
4. Good interpersonal and communication skills
5. Basic math skills
6. Experience in grocery or related fields is helpful but not required

Physical Demands

• Standing for up to 8+ hours per day
• Repetitive lifting, reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, twisting, squatting
• Frequently lift 0-20 pounds; occasionally up to 50 pounds
