Candidates should possess the ability to:

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, and short correspondence.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.

The Opportunity

Under supervision of the Grocery Manager, the Grocery Clerk provides friendly, courteous service, assists customers, cleans display cases and shelves, and maintains self-serve displays. Must be able to work various hours including nights and weekends, and perform heavy lifting, bending, and stooping. The environment is typical of a fast-paced grocery store, requiring physical activity such as standing, walking, and visual and auditory attention.
