Job summary

WinCo Foods is hiring for a customer service role in a 24/7 retail environment. You will process customer orders, assist shoppers, and ensure accurate pricing while maintaining a friendly store atmosphere.

The position involves standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally, and working varied shifts including night hours. Employee-owned ESOP and strong benefits support your work-life needs.

Qualifications

• Friendly, courteous customer service to internal and external customers.
• Ability to communicate effectively and perform customer relation skills.
• Willingness to work varied shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and up to 20 lbs frequently.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage customers, providing courteous service.
• Maintain an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer awareness and fast service.
• Operate check stand equipment (cash register, scanner, scale) to process orders.
• Engage in suggestive selling and other sales techniques.
• Process monetary transactions including cash, checks, and coupons.
• Keep check stand clean, stocked and pricing accurate.
