Job summary

Schnucks is seeking a part-time checker to support store operations in a fast-paced environment. You will assist customers, process transactions, and manage payments with accuracy while maintaining friendly service.

Attendance and flexibility are required, with a typical 20-25 hour weekly schedule. Training is provided at the store level to ensure proficient performance in a team setting.

Qualifications

• Regular attendance is essential.
• Must be available between 6am-10pm to be considered.
• Training will be provided at store level.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and courteous service to customers.
• Greet customers prior to checking their order.
• Check out customers' purchases accurately.
• Identify and know produce items and use produce and product codes.
• Distinguish between manufacturer coupons and Schnucks coupons; process coupons.
• Collect correct amount due and handle cash, checks, debit, credit, EBT, WIC, and other payments.
• Complete register records accurately and maintain cash security.
• Bag customer orders and manage receipts/coupon tapes.
• Other duties may be assigned by store management.
