Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate customer service to create a positive shopping experience.
• Courteous and helpful to other associates.
• Maintain proper Specialty Merchandise product level according to standard practice while controlling backroom inventory and maintaining proper shelf conditions.
• Maintain shelf allocations according to plan-o-grams.
• Ensure that back stock is properly maintained.
• Work with new items and tags within 1 week of receiving items and refer to plan-o-grams for proper placement.
• Ensure that ordering, receiving, preparation, conditioning and displaying of merchandise is done per policies and guidelines.
• Understand and follow Food Lion guidelines, policies and standard practice.
• Understand and follow Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines and procedures.
