Job summary

Food Lion in Wytheville, VA seeks to provide quality customer service within the Center Store Department. You will maintain standards, maximize sales through service, and minimize shrink through standard practice.

Responsibilities include stocking, shelf maintenance, and applying Food Lion policies. You will use ACIS/CAO tools, follow safety guidelines, and complete CBT and required trainings to support daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain enthusiastic customer awareness with fast, friendly, accurate service.
• Be courteous and helpful to other associates.
• Clean shelves and shelf tag moldings when stocking.
• Maintain shelf allocations by stocking from tag to tag.
• Place only saleable merchandise on shelves.
• Ensure proper ordering, receiving, preparation and displaying of merchandise.
• Understand and use company tools like ACIS and CAO.
