Qualifications

• Accreditation as a Certified Food Safety Manager or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment; accreditation must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Grocery Department, including hiring, training and developing department associates
• Supervise the performance of all duties and responsibilities of department associates and provide ongoing performance management
• Daily management of labor and coaching of associates to achieve productivity targets
• Provide leadership to promote a positive store culture aligned with Guiding Principles, Core Values, Vision and Strategy
• Support the achievement of budgeted financial and operating results
• Maintain an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer service and a positive shopping experience
• Use store tools such as financial reports, ACIS, scheduling, and inventory systems to manage the department
• Ensure department appearance, quality, variety, safety, and sanitation compliance
