Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a Store Team Member focused on providing quality customer service in the Center Store department. You will help maintain standards, maximize sales through friendly service, and minimize shrink by following the standard practice manual.

Responsibilities include ensuring safe, accurate cash handling, stocking, tagging, and adherence to Food Safety guidelines while wearing the Food Lion uniform and meeting CBT requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Must meet minimum age requirements and physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Maintain enthusiastic customer awareness with fast, friendly, and accurate service.
• Be courteous and helpful to other associates.
• Keep shelves clean and properly tagged during stocking.
• Ensure saleable merchandise is displayed and properly shelved.
• Follow policy guidelines for ordering, receiving, preparation, and displaying.
