Job summary

Pick 'n Save in Fond du Lac, WI is hiring a Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger to provide outstanding customer service and maintain a clean, safe shopping environment. You will bag groceries, assist customers with loading bags, and help with shelf maintenance and price checks.

This on-site role emphasizes honesty, integrity, and teamwork to ensure a positive store experience. The position supports store operations, enforces safety and food safety standards, and helps customers navigate the store.

Qualifications

• Retail experience is preferred but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Bag groceries at checkout for customers.
• Strive to bag at least five items per bag without damage.
• Follow best practices for bagging in various bag types.
• Assist in removing customer merchandise from bottom of bascart for checkout.
• Offer to help customers load bags into their car.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning.
• Inform customers of grocery specials.
• Return merchandise to store shelves.
• Gather bascarts and return to designated areas.
• Clean spills and trash inside store and in parking lot.
• Handle seasonal merchandise.
• Know the store layout and locate products; perform price checks for cashiers.
• Adhere to safety procedures and report unsafe conditions.
• Follow food safety regulations.
• Inspect equipment and report repairs needed.
• Create an environment where customers feel welcome and valued.
