Job summary

Kroger is seeking a Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger in Rincon, GA to provide outstanding service and maintain a clean environment. Responsibilities include bagging groceries, assisting customers, and promoting store safety and efficiency.

Ideal candidates will be able to work in a fast-paced setting, understand store layout, and help with loading groceries and stock upkeep. Flexible scheduling may be available in part-time roles.

Qualifications

• Retail experience is preferred but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Bag groceries at checkout for customers.
• Strive for at least five items in the bag without damage.
• Bag items using reusable, plastic, and paper bags.
• Assist in removing merchandise from bascart at checkout.
• Offer to help customers load bags into their car.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning.
• Inform customers of grocery specials.
• Return merchandise to store shelves.
• Gather bascarts and return them to designated areas.
• Clean spills and collect trash inside store and parking lot.
• Understand the store layout and locate products.
• Reinforce safety procedures and notify management of hazards.
• Adhere to food safety regulations.
• Inspect equipment and report repairs.
• Create a welcoming environment and answer questions.
