Job summary

Kroger is seeking a Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger to deliver outstanding customer service at our Covington, GA store. You will bag groceries, assist customers, and help maintain a clean, safe shopping environment.

You will also communicate product information and support cashiers while following safety guidelines. This on-site role supports the store team with flexible scheduling and opportunities for growth within Kroger’s store operations.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to deliver courteous service to customers.
• Ability to assist customers with bagging and loading.
• Comfort with working in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Bag groceries at checkout for customers and aim for five items per bag.
• Follow best practices for bagging in various bag types.
• Assist in unloading merchandise from bas carts and return to shelves.
• Offer help to customers with loading bags into vehicles.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and check prices for cashiers.
• Adhere to safety, sanitation, and food safety regulations.
• Clean spills, collect trash in store and parking lot, and maintain a neat environment.
• Provide product information and direct customers to store locations.
