Job summary

The Kroger Family of Companies is hiring a Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger at our Oshkosh, WI store. You will bag groceries, assist customers, maintain a safe, clean shopping environment and support cashiers throughout shifts.

You will help load bags, stock shelves, inform customers about specials, and adhere to safety and food-handling guidelines. Previous retail experience is welcome but not required; strong teamwork and customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• Retail experience preferred but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Bag groceries at checkout and handle bags carefully.
• Assist customers with loading bags into their car.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and return merchandise to shelves.
• Inform customers of grocery specials and price checks.
• Maintain a clean and safe store environment and follow safety procedures.
• Reinforce safety programs and report unsafe conditions to management.
• Adhere to local, state and federal laws and company guidelines.
• Provide assistance to customers while managing high-paced, stressful situations.
