Job summary

Kroger is hiring for a Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger at our Bellevue, WI location. You will bag groceries at checkout, assist customers with loading bags, and maintain a safe, clean store environment.

You’ll also restock shelves, check prices, and follow safety procedures to ensure a positive shopping experience. Retail experience is a plus, but we welcome applicants with strong customer service skills and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Retail experience preferred but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Bag groceries at checkout for customers.
• Aim for at least five items per bag while preventing damage.
• Follow best bagging practices with reusable, plastic, and paper bags.
• Assist in removing merchandise from bascarts for checkout.
• Offer to help customers load bags into their car.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of specials.
• Return merchandise to store shelves and gather bascarts.
• Clean spills and pick up trash inside store and in the parking lot.
• Understand store layout and locate products; conduct price checks.
• Adhere to safety programs and report unsafe conditions or issues.
