Responsibilities

• Bag groceries at checkout for customers
• Assist in bagging and ensure items are not damaged
• Follow bagging best practices for different bag types
• Assist customers with loading bags into their car
• Perform basic shelf conditioning
• Inform customers of grocery specials
• Return merchandise to shelves
• Gather carts and return them to designated areas
• Clean spills and collect trash in store and parking lot
• Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store
• Understand store layout and locate products
• Comply with safety procedures and identify unsafe conditions
• Adhere to food safety regulations
• Inspect equipment and report needed repairs
• Provide a welcoming environment and answer questions about products
• Follow laws and company guidelines
• Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment
• Manage conflicts calmly and honestly
• Follow directions and seek help when needed
• Assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
