Job summary

The Kroger Co. is seeking a Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger to create an outstanding customer experience in our Cincinnati store. You will bag groceries, assist customers, and maintain a clean, safe shopping environment throughout the shift.

Responsibilities include informing customers about specials, performing basic shelf maintenance, and helping with seasonal merchandise. We value safety, integrity, and friendly service in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Retail experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Bag groceries at checkout for customers.
• Aim for at least five items per bag and avoid damage.
• Follow best practices for bagging in reusable, plastic or paper bags.
• Assist customers with loading bags into their car when needed.
• Perform shelf conditioning and inform customers of specials.
• Return merchandise to shelves and gather baskets.
• Clean spills and remove trash inside store and parking lot.
• Maintain store cleanliness and assist with seasonal merchandise handling.
• Understand store layout and conduct price checks for cashiers.
• Follow safety procedures and report unsafe conditions to management.
